Matthews Open End Silks

Open-End Silks.
Used to control or manipulate light falling on certain areas of the subject.
To be used for medium diffusion at varying degrees.
Made of spring steel with a 3/8" pin and support which can be used to hang the Scrim from the C Stand® handle when not in use.
Color coded binding for fabric identification.

Artificial Silk -White:
reduces 1.6 Stops, Softens and diffuses direct light and introduces a significan amount of ambient bounce.
Artificial Silk - Black:
reduces 1.8 Stops, Softens and diffuses direct light withou introduction of ambient bounce.
1/4 stop Silk -White:
reduces 0.6 Stops, Slightly softens and diffuses light, without much reduction of intensity, introduces ambient bounce.
1/4 stop Silk - Black:
reduces 0.7 Stops, Slightly softens and diffuses light, doesn't introduce ambient bounce
China Silk - White:
reduces 1 Stops, Softens light without a great reduction of intensity. Introduces a significant amount of ambient bounce
China Silk - Black:
reduces 1 Stops, Softens light without a great reduction of intensity. Doesn't introduce ambient bounce.
